Warehouse & Transportation Supervisor/Team Leader

Summary/Responsibilities of this position:

This position is located in our San Antonio or San Marcos Retail Support Centers and reports to the corresponding Facility Leader.  The ideal candidate would be responsible for the daily warehouse operations: receiving, inventory control, selection, stacking, and shipping activities. Daily operations in Transportation would include: routing, scheduling, dispatching, delivery, fleet maintenance or distribution center services. The successful candidate must be able to provide effective leadership of operational execution and planning to ensure the absolute best service to the retail customers.

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Management or related field (preferred) and/or a minimum of three years of experience in a position that requires supervision of others.Good analytical ability & decision making skills as demonstrated through handling special projects or assignments.Strong leadership skills with proven ability in coaching & developing others as demonstrated through handling special projects or assignments.Strong written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated experience with presentations to subordinates and members of management.Must have computer skills to include working in a Windows-based environment, Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail.Demonstrated flexibility and capability to learn and provide direction to others in a fast paced environmentStrong multi-tasking and attention to detail skillsAbility to motivate team members and establish challenging team/individual goals.Demonstrated ability to analyze and influence people and process situations.Ability to work flexible schedules to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
