Warehouse Receiver
Job Title: Receiver
Department: Purchasing & Operations
Reports to: Shipping/Receiver Supervisor
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, additional time as required.
Status: Non -Exempt, regular full time employee
Summary of duties and responsibilities:
Receive all items delivered to the facility and process all appropriate paperwork, direct receiving assistant, maintain communication with management regarding status and problems of stock, maintain receiving area in a clean and orderly manner.

Primary duties and responsibilities:
76% Receive all items delivered to facility, processing paperwork, printing labels, notifying stock employees about product.
6% Direct receiving assistant.
6% Inform appropriate parties of receiving problems/stock problems.
7% Maintain receiving area in clean, orderly and safe manner.
5% Perform other duties as directed by management.
Education, prior work experience, specialized skills and knowledge:
High school diploma or GED, one to three months of experience/training; equivalent combination of education and experience: ability to read and interpret documents such as manifests, procedures and manuals: ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentage: ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions as well as the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer litaracy required.
Physical Qualification: Must be able to work in standing position, and be able to lift and carry fifty (50) pounds
Physical environment/working conditions: Warehouse/Fulfillment facility at Taylor Gifts, Inc.
Equipment/machinery used: Computer MACS system, calculator, copy machine, fax machine, telephone, pallet Jack (mechanical), pallet jack (manual), forklift, two wheel, bar code printer, company vehicles.
