We are an industry-leading Third Party Logistics Provider who is looking for a highly motivated Supply Chain Business Development Manager to foster and develop business relationships on a local, national, and international level. We have positioned ourselves as a top 50 3PL provider, and are looking to continue our success by penetrating new market growth. This position will be domiciled out of the Northeast region of the United States, based on the successful candidate’s place of residence.

 

The ideal candidate should possess the following:2-3 years minimum experience in value added or dedicated logistics salesExperience conducting business with “C” level executivesBachelor’s Degree preferred Effective oral and written communication skillsProblem solving and analytical skills, as well as a strong attention to detailStrong growth and sales orientationAbility to multitaskA competitive and career oriented mindset



Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Prospecting, identifying, and contacting potential business clients through networking and research Securing new business as well as fostering current accounts through effective presentations, meetings, and entertainment  Selling transportation and logistics value-added services on a regional, national, and international level
