Primary Job Function:
This is a newly created position to assist in the functions of three different departments. One of the main responsibilities will be to provide reconciliations between the property department and the accounting department. Included in this function is the preparation/oversight of the weekly estimate, monthly and annual financial reporting for LinkAmerica Equipment Company. This responsibility includes presenting accurate financial information to management on a timely basis and preparing additional financial analysis to help management better understand the financial results of the company.

Accountabilities:
1. Daily tracking of changes to equipment and maintaining reconciliation between property files and accounting records.
2. Preparation of weekly equipment changes used by G/L department.
3. Preparing the weekly estimates, monthly and annual financial information of LinkAmerica Equipment Company.
4. Maintaining fixed asset system including additions, disposals, and monthly depreciation.
5. Reconcile insurance invoices for related equipment.
6. Prepare/revise auto payment forms for capital expenditure changes.
7. Prepare monthly PPE Rollforward.
8. Prepare or review three large bank reconciliations (general, o/o, and subsidiary payroll)
9. Reconcile weekly payroll data to G/L journal entry.
10. Help Assistant Controller prepare audit workpapers and support schedules for entities related to the Company for various audits throughout the year (financial statement, A/R, 401k, etc).
11. Perform Ad Hoc analysis on financial information as needed by management.
12. Working with other accounting departments and IS Department to ensure proper procedures and documentation are put in place to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger as well as the timeliness of the financial reporting is maintained.



Requirements
Qualifications:
This position requires a thorough understanding of accounting and financial reporting. In working with multiple departments, ability to work on various different projects at one time is needed. In addition, this position deals directly with upper management on a daily basis and therefore requires effective communication skills.

Must have excellent reconciliation skills, attention to details, speed, multi-tasking, personality to fit into the group.

Educational Background:
Associates or Bachelors degree required.
