Senior Director of Operations

 

We are a rapidly growing company in Indiana providing warehousing, transportation, and delivery of product for our customers. 

 

We are seeking a Senior Director of Operations

We need a well rounded, pro-active, experienced business person and leader that understands operations, working with administration, team work, productivity, managing a workforce, et.

This person must be customer oriented

Project experience or working as part of a project team is a must.

Must understand logistics, distribution, retail deliveries, etc. with an understanding of job costs, and managing project costs.Successful cost control management techniquesExperience interfacing with customersExperience as a hands-on operations leaderAbility to manage multiple activitiesAbility to exceed customer expectations

This person must a hard-working team player, and possesses exceptional team building and team communication skills; must have the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the company, with customers, and with vendors.

 

The Position:

Will be responsible for maintaining the Company's operations so that the Company continues on a path of bottom and top-line growth.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

 1. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the Company's field concepts, practices and procedures to include financial and operating cost management. 

2. Direct all aspects of the organization's operational policies, objectives and initiatives.

 3. Responsible for the attainment of short and long-term operational goals.

 4. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. Is creative and self-motivated.

 

 Education:

An undergraduate degree is required.
