Senior Cost Schedule Administrator
A subsidiary of Agility Defense & Government Services, Taos Industries is in the business of supporting the U.S. government and its allies by providing global procurement services for commercial and military spare parts and systems. We specialize in the procurement of military systems and equipment and spare parts of foreign origin. Taos provides complete procurement services for its customers from the identification of qualified foreign manufacturers and sources of supply, to contracting, financing, quality assurance, inspection, packaging, safety certification and shipping. With program managers and support personnel who have served in the armed forces, we understand the significance of our clients request and the role that even the tiniest part can play in the outcome of an operation. Senior Cost Schedule Administrator This position is responsible for supporting the Program Management Office on major Logistic Support Services FFP and Cost type contracts from proposal through project execution. The Program Cost/Schedule Specialist will work with the Project Manager, Business Manager and operational leads to insure the development and integrity of the IMS and PMB using MS Project, Deltek Cobra and wInsight Web tools. This position will require close coordination and travel to both domestic and international suppliers and on-site field offices. Travel estimated at 20%. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop IMS from PMO, Operational Lead and Supplier input using MS Project 2007 Ensure IMS integration with the WBS, PWS, SOO, CDRLs, Risks, Earned Value, Critical Path modeling and IMP (if required) Develops and maintains PMR overview schedules, earned value reports and staffing charts Through close coordination with the PMO, Operation Leads and Suppliers, develops and maintains the contract and performance measurement baselines in Deltek Cobra Maintains the program CCB, Funding and Proposal Change Logs Must have a fundamental understanding and experience with Project Planning, IMS and EVMS Provide IMS to proposals in support of BD and Programs new business pursuits Must be self-directed and possess the cost/schedule integration “know how” to support the proposal through execution phases of the project Must have multi-tasking skills and the ability to work with all level of management Must be willing to work extended hours when necessary 20% travel or less Other duties as assigned The Program Cost/Schedule Specialist will be located in Huntsville, Alabama. Travel will be required to project and supplier locations predominantly in the U.S., some foreign travel may be required. Emphasizes team-work, coordination, frequent interactions across functions, excellent communication and inter-personal skills. Demonstrated ability to meet time sensitive deadlines. Job Requirements: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE B.A./B.S. degree preferably in Business, Finance, Economics or Cost Engineering 5-7 years minimum experience in a Scheduling or Project Controls organization Preferred work experience with DoD Logistic Support Services contracts Experience with IDIQ, task and delivery orders, FFP, T&M and Cost proposals IMP, IMS and EVMS hands-on experience and training Strong oral and written communication skills Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines Strong MS Project and Deltek Cobra with winsight experience a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Self-starter, works independently and yet a strong team player CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS PMP certification is a plus.Job Code : TAOS - Senior Cost Schedule Ad Division/Department : TAOS Travel Required : 20-30%
