Sales Admin / Support
SUMMARY The Sales Admin/Support is responsible for managing timelines and working with internal colleagues in Sales/Operations/IT/Finance/Product groups to complete project tasks as directed by the Trade Lane Leader-Greater Asia Trade Lane. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for duties including: administration of existing processes, development of new processes, presentation/document/spreadsheet development assistance, data formatting, analysis, and communication support between the Sales Leadership and Sales team to facilitate growth Responsible for facilitating coordination between multiple cities to schedule join sales calls Responsible for sales leads and routing orders Ensures that all administrative and support functions are met in support of the sales force Responsible for event planning for sales team: on/off-site meeting facilitation Responsible for developing presentations, mass emails, shared success, identifying strategic focus areas, etc. Responsible for administering new hire orientation process for incoming sales team members Responsible for overall support of strategic goals of enterprise Responsible for other duties as assigned by management QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of experience in a sales support/analyst/admin role Computer Skills Required: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel (Intermediate to Advanced), formatting embedded objects, hyper-linking, formula creation, macros, filtering, pivot tables, mail merges etc. Strong writing skills Advanced query and reporting skills using systems like MS Access, Cognos, or SQL highly preferred Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience preferred Industry knowledge in freight forwarding, transportation, and logistics required Complete multimodal knowledge highly preferred (Ocean LCL, Ocean FCL, Air, Import, Export, Domestic, CHB, 3PL) Experience with AS400 or server based system preferred Experience with Sales Training preferred Job Code : Sales Support-ORD-Asia TL Division/Department : GIL Amer US Travel Required : None
