Safety Coordinator

The Safety Coordinator supports shift supervisors and other site managers in all aspects of warehouse safety and compliance.  This position will lead, support, monitor, and develop the site safety team and site safety initiatives.

 

Candidates should posses ability to handle multiple projects and priorities and be able to drive operational safety through awareness, training, auditing, and coaching.  Qualified candidates will have knowledge of warehouse processes, OSHA regulations and compliance, accident/incident investigation and oversight, detailed record keeping, and W/C case management.

 

The ability to communicate effectively and professionally is required.  This position and company culture requires a self starter who can work independently and support and lead by example in all daily activities related to safety and operations.  Proactive approach needed to achieve company and site safety goals to reduce injuries and incidents through prevention and education.

 

Some Flexibility is required in working hours to assure that all shifts are supported as business needs require. 

 

Degree in Safety and/or relevant work experience preferred.
