Safety Administrative Coordinator
A Metro Detroit based truckload carrier is currently seeking an entry level Safety Administrative Coordinator for our corporate Plymouth location. Qualified candidates must have experience with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, driver logs, hours of service, and be proficient Microsoft Word and Excel. Candidates must possess excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving-skills. Experience with SAP, KellerScan, and AS400 is a plus.

Job Responsibilities
Â
Logs:Scan, verify and file logs. Send out a weekly missing log list. Run monthly log violation reports and send to regional managers. Perform audit verifications. Track log violators for log training. Coordinate and perform log training for drivers on the worst offender’s list. Peoplenet audit Enter expenses for CO/ O/O Enter in New Hires/ Terms in Keller
Safety:Maintain driver and owner operator expiration database. Send out expiration report weekly to regional managers. Order MVR’s for annual reviews. Assist in distributing permits as needed. Keep current on FMCSA regulations. Assist in ordering and distributing safety supplies. Run MVR’s when needed.
Assist Human Resource:Complete past employment verifications. Update driver information in AS400/ ACCESS. Activate fuel cards for new hires. Assist in pre-employment verifications. Assist in orientation when needed.
Comdata/Gas Boy:Activate/deactivate fuel cards as needed. Order and maintain adequate supply of fuel cards. Run Gas Boy reports.
