Route Driver - Class A

Job Responsibilities:• Deliver products of varying sizes and weight to customers• Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations• Maintain truck operating efficiency• Maintain safe operation and clean appearance• Unload product of varying size and weight• Enhance our organization’s reputation by ensuring courteous customer service• Handle delivery questions and problems or refer them to management as appropriate• Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records• Some overnights may be requiredRequired Certifications/Licenses:• Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)• Good driving record• Certification for and ability to operate powered material handling equipment is requiredRequired Education/Experience:• 1-2 years of tractor/trailer reefer experience• Some Customer Service experience• High school education or equivalent work experienceRequired Qualifications:• Ability to operate on-board computer as needed• Effectively maintain appointment schedules• Plan and ensure on-time deliveries• Place primary importance on delivering superior customer service• Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple priorities • Capable of heavy lifting up to 65 pounds• Demonstrates a strong work ethic• Ability to read and write English• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidaysCDL,Customer Service,Driver,Electric Pallet Jack,Food Distribution,High School Diploma,Warehouse Transportation Need more reasons to apply?
