Right now, we’re seeking several freight forwarding sales professionals to join us at our offices in Torrance, CA.

 

Responsible for initiating, increasing and supporting the development of cargo growth within defined trade lanes, you will maintain key relationships with existing Damco customers, generate sales leads, design and deliver sales presentations and commercial proposals, and collaborate with other business units to capitalize on cross-selling opportunities within Damco (as well as with Maersk Logistics & Maersk Line). You will also help to develop and implement short and long-range product development plans.

 

To qualify, you must have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent background), at least 5-7 years of freight forwarding sales and business development experience, and in-depth knowledge of forwarding services. Candidates must have excellent time management, analytical, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills; and above average proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
