Residential Field Account Executive-Richmond, Virginia
Increase video, high-speed internet, and voice services penetration in assigned Sweep Areas through door-to-door sales to current, new and former Comcast residential customers. Consult with customers and prospects to promote the breadth of Comcast products and services within the assigned area. Learn customers' short term and long-term needs and recommend products and service applications to meet those needs. This position will require excellence in consultative selling to develop customer understanding of the benefits of Comcast products and services as compared to competition. Major Duties: • Demonstrate strong understanding and enthusiasm around technology, especially around Comcast products and services, promoting and selling offerings to residential customers in designated territory. • Effectively communicate to and develop rapport with customers. Evaluate customer's potential product needs and make appropriate recommendations. • Increase customer understanding of Comcast products and pricing models, as well as competitive advantage over satellite or other competitors. • Consistently meet and exceed sales goals within the guidelines established by local market. • Independently establish and organize daily sales initiatives. • Generate business through acquisition and upgrade sales to addresses within the Assigned Sweep area. • Implement effective sales closing techniques to ensure product installation goal is achieved. • Complete associated paperwork following each customer contact in a timely manner to ensure all details of transaction are completed according to approved and standardized procedures. Report all sales and service activities such as identification of unauthorized, competitive addresses and data base discrepancies. • Bring a Think Customer First perspective each and every day • Immediately escalate customer issues and concerns as well as handle post-installation follow-up. • Demonstrate professional conduct and appearance. • Punctual, regular and consistent attendance for daily check-in and assigned trainings and meetings.Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
Required Skills:
EDUCATION: High school diploma or the recognized equivalent. Valid Virginia drivers lisence, with reliable transportaion, with carries at least the minimum required insurance A minimum of 3 months demonstrated sales experience with direct sales or door to door experience preferred Demonstrated abilities around PC usage and understanding Strong customer service background. Demonstrated record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas. Ability to independently establish and achieve goals.
