Receiving Operations Manager
A national leader in providing warehouse services to manufacturing and distribution companies is seeking a Receiving Operations Manager for our warehouse / distribution facility in the Orange County, California area.
We are seeking a candidate who will provide leadership with a positive customer service orientation; strong employee relations skills; and a proven track record of successful management experience in the warehousing /transportation industry. A college education and bi-lingual communication skills are a positive consideration. This is a day receiving operation, 7 days per week.
Position requirements include: 1) P /L responsibility; identify controllable variances and take corrective action, 2) efficient employee scheduling and labor controls, 3) recruiting, selection, and training of staff, 4) provide training /development for first line supervisors, 5) implement safe work practices, OSHA compliance, and accident prevention programs, 6) manage dock receiving operations, 7) assure accurate and timely operational reports, and 8) maintain a positive relationship with warehouse operations management and transportation/ delivery personnel.
