JOB DESCRIPTION:UPS is currently seeking a Programmer for the Global IT Department.Job Responsibilities:? Write programs of low to moderate complexity matching detailed specifications. ? Develop, execute and analyze unit test plan for low to moderate complexity assignments. ? Assist in supporting application systems - problem log research, root cause analysis.? Recommend steps for resolution, implementing solutions. Knowledge and Skills:? Strong accountability, initiative and judgment skills. ? Excellent oral and written communication skills.? Good planning, organization and problem solving skills.? Ability to solve business problems. ? Strong knowledge of Order Management and WMS systems.Education and Experience:? Minimum of 2 years experience of COBOL programming required.? Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required.OTHER CRITERIA:Employer will not sponsor visas for position.There is no relocation available for this position.UPS is an Equal Opportunity Employer
