Operations Manager
This position requires a candidate with steel, trucking, safety, EPA & Quality Control experience
1. Terminal Operations - oversee steel inventory for customers, coordinate material handling outside and inside storage, yard oversight and coordination.
2. Equipment Repairs and Maintenance - oversee repairs and maintenance for fleet and yard heavy duty equipment, train and oversee proper use of material handling and supervise fleet costs and maximize availability and utilization.
3. Safety, Environment, Security Issues - Coordinate compliance issues with Port of Houston Authority and all other governmental agencies, coordinate and enforce safety policies and comply with all OSHA regulations.
4. Working hours would be 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. M - F, this position rotates with other staff members when direct discharge calls for it.
