Company Name:Dal-Tile Corporation Location:Sunnyvale, TX 75182 Status:Full Time, Employee Reference ID:RDC Supervisor - Sunnyvale, TX   Job Category:Logistics/Transportation Career Level:Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff) Experience:2+ to 5 Years Occupations: Inventory Planning and Management;Shipping and Receiving/Warehousing         Job Description           Dal-Tile Corporation, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, manufactures, distributes and markets high-quality ceramic tile and natural stone products.  Dal-Tile is the largest ceramic tile manufacturer in the U.S. and one of the largest tile manufacturers in the world employing over 10,000 associates.  We currently operate eight manufacturing facilities, five Regional Distribution Centers, and over 250 Sales Service Centers (SSCs). RDC Supervisor – Sunnyvale, TX  Primary Objective: Supervises warehouse operations which include receiving, put-away, picking, inventory control, loading/unloading, packing and/or checking.  Consistently plans, organizes, leads, directs and motivates the work of others with integrity, a sense of urgency and understanding. Qualifications: o  Bachelor’s degree highly preferred; o  Associates degree and two years of warehouse/distribution management; or four plus years of warehouse/distribution management and high school diploma or equivalent required.  o  Ability to read and write English fluently. o  Working knowledge of all warehouse, distribution, transportation and logistics related functions.o  2-3 years Manufacturing/distribution experience required.o  Minimum one year Lead or Supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution or manufacturing environment also required.o  Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. o  Must be proficient in MS Excel. o  Must possess excellent planning, administrative, and organizational skills. o  Must be forklift certified.o  Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to handle conflict resolution.    Major Functions and Scope:   Supervises the daily work schedules and activities of warehouse employees involved in any of the following: shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, picking and packing. Plans, schedules, and assigns work to ensure production goals are achieved. Partners with other members of the management team to provide direction and guidance to employees. Ensures employees meet all established standards for productivity, accuracy, equipment maintenance, housekeeping and safety. Coaches and trains employees in the performance of warehouse activities. Supervise warehouse personnel in effecting the receipt, storage, cycle counting and kitting of materials within the daily deadlines. Insure the accurate entry of data, proper documentation, and correct inventory activities to support required levels of inventory accuracy.
