Maersk Equipment Services Co. (MESC), part of the global A.P. Moller – Maersk Group, is seeking a self-motivated M&R Supervisor for our facility at APM Terminals, Pier 400.

 

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of container and chassis maintenance & repair, you will monitor and control repair costs and out-of-service equipment levels, and ensure that repair and inspection standards are met. You’ll also approve repair estimates and invoices for M&R related activities, review work orders and inspection forms, and continually monitor all operations to ensure compliance with regulatory and company safety policies and procedures.

 

To qualify, you must have a minimum of a HS diploma (or equivalent), and a transportation industry background with experience in equipment maintenance or terminal operations. Good mechanical & problem-solving abilities are required. Candidates must be highly organized, proficient in MS Office applications, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
