Logistics Supervisor 1 Supply Chain DBT

This position is located in Tampa, Florida

Job Description:

The Logistics Supervisor will be located on-site at Menlo’s customers in Tampa, Florida.  This position will be responsible creating, implementing and managing supply chain projects that drive savings to Menlo’s customer’s bottom line. This person must also have the ability to document processes, value stream maps, work instructions, and presentations where required.  The position will also be responsible for providing operational support to Menlo’s customer within the Latin & South American regions.  This position will be working with Menlo’s Global routing center and will have to communicate initiatives as well as operational issues to both Menlo and Menlo’s customer.  This position will be required to travel to and from the United States, Latin, and South American countries.  Since this position will responsible for creating and managing supply chain projects for the Latin and South American countries, this position will require knowledge or Freight Forwarders, Ocean Vessels, and Airlines that service these regions.

Advanced in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access is bonus)

Knowledge of International Transportation providers for Latin & South America

Perform root cause analysis for any required operational issues

Communicate and resolve any issues with transportation

Promote a lean work environment

Must be willing to travel within the United States, Latin & South America, and Mexico

Communication Skills

Written and verbal skills with customer, management, and peers

Conduct formal presentations

Meeting facilitation

Must be bilingual (Spanish & English)
