Description:C.H. Robinson's Laredo CrossBorder Customs Operations team provides logistics services to businesses, moving all types of freight accross the border. As a LICENSED Customs Broker you will be responsible for the handling of freight forwarding services, clearing customs freight as it enters/exits the USA via truckload. You will be part of a high volume office, requiring the ideal candidate to multi-task and be a team player. At times you will also be writing entries, working with tariffs and other international documentation.The responsibilities for this position include:- Entry writing of customs- Handles all compliance issues with Customs, FDA, USDA, and other government agencies- Tariff compliance- Freight forwarding documentation- Educate across CHRW netowrk about US/Mexico customs process- Assist in selling all CHRW services related to the crossing of the US/Mexico border both North and Southbound.Qualifications:The required qualifications for this position include:- MUST BE a Licensed Customs Broker- 3 years in importing- 3 years in transportation industry- FDA and USDA knowledge- Strong problem solving abilities- Bilingual SpanishSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceWe offer excellent benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, prescription drug coverage, paid holidays and vacation, disability insurance, life insurance, 401K with company match, profit sharing, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and the opportunity to prosper in a growing Fortune 500 company.Job Location: Laredo, TXJob Number: 3184Company URL: http://www.chrobinson.com/careers/Company Profile:At C.H.
