Inventory Control Coordinator

You will take primary responsibility for coordinating, tracking and maintaining all Distribution Center inventory.

This position reports to:
Operation Supervisor/Manager

Primary Responsibilities and Duties: Track, monitor, maintain records, and reconcile inventory Act as a liaison regarding IS requests Coordinate with outside contacts regarding inventories under company control Act as a liaison with other departments regarding inventory, systems, planning and other issues, report on inventory and quality issues; coordinate and conduct bi-annual inventory Coordinate receiving frozen, cooler, dry and fresh products received on a daily basis Coordinate receiving and storage of goods previously mentioned with the receiving staff Coordinate inventory updates received from the purchasing department on LTO, soft deletes and product depletion E-mail distribution recovery plans to staff for low inventory Meet on daily basis with receiving staff with plans approved by the Operations Supervisor/Manager in order to review and plan receiving schedule for the night Assist in maintaining the setup of new inventory updates and new slot locations in the JDE/JDA database Assist in maintaining the online JDA web site Maintain inventory reports using JDA/JDE and Excel, distributing them to other staff members as necessary Maintain the off-site cold storage inventory and coordinate transfers as needed Warehouse backup and perform any other duties assigned by the Operations Supervisor/Manager
Qualifications: High school diploma/GED required; some college coursework preferred Minimum of 12 months work experience in inventory management Minimum of three years of inventory/warehouse experience Efficient use of Windows-based computer application programs Able to work well under pressure Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis Able to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills Attention to detail and accuracy Good math skills Commitment to the objectives of the organization
