Import Coordinator - $35-45k
Due to continued growth, this premier customs brokerage division has an immediate opening for an experienced import professional. The position avaialble is a "cradle to grave" import position. This position is responsible for tracking/tracing, opening files, collecting documents, ensuring proper classification in accordance with the harmonized tariff schedule, transmission of the appropriate customs entry, via automated brokerage interface (ABI), the set up of distribution in accordance with the clients demands, and the billing/closing of the file. All the while, keeping the client informed and happy.
To qualify, you must: Â have experience working for a customsbrokerage operation, OR an importer that cleared its own merchandise through customs. have experience using the ABI software system have a desire to develop a career in the logistics buisness be capable of passing a pre-employment drug test, and background check.
