We are presently looking for a first-rate candidate to join our award-winning team as a Terminal Manager in Calvert City, KY.Our ideal candidate will have previous bulk or tank industry experience.

 

At Quality Distribution, you will be committed to adding value by providing customers with safe, efficient, and error-free service; supply chain cost reductions; and technical support.  As a Terminal Manager, you are responsible for the daily management of terminal operations, including dispatch and driver supervision; customer service and satisfaction; billing and terminal profitability.

 

Essential functions include:Supervising daily dispatch functions (i.e. assisting with decision making and driver management). Driver recruitment, retention, payroll, correcting settlement issues, maintenance and enforcement of safety compliance. Monitoring dispatched loads to ensure equipment coverage and availability. Customer Service in regards to rates, service, and resolution. Monitoring terminal expenses and revenue.

 

Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma, 4 year Degree preferred 2+ years Supervisory experience in a trucking environment 3-4 years bulk tank truck experience preferred
