Dispatch Manager - Gasoline Dispatcher
Dupre’ Transport is currently seeking a Dispatch Manager for our Baton Rouge, LA Terminal. Job Description Our Dispatch Manager works in a fast paced position that is at the hub of activity in our business units. Dispatch Managers obtain detailed dispatch specifications for customers, perform loading planning activities, coordinating load assignments, monitoring physical inventories, handle administrative paperwork and computer entry duties. The main objective is to verify that the customer’s needs are met in a prompt and professional manner. Key duties: Gather & interpret relevant inventory management data Monitor key performance data to anticipate customer service problems, opportunities & risks Coordinate delivery schedules Handle customer service for all accounts Our current position available is Day shift (7a - 7p).Our Dispatchers work a 7 on - 7 off schedule. Job Qualifications - 1 year of fuel transportation dispatching experience, required- 2 years university course work in one of the following areas: Business Management, Marketing, Industrial Technology, Operations Management or Information Systems, etc., preferred- Must have a high level of self motivation, organizational skills, excellent customer service skills, and ability to multi-task at very fast pace.- Prior experience in customer service, operations and/or industrial setting is a plus.- Must possess attention to detail We have an excellent compensation package: competitive salary, insurance, retirement, training, and opportunities for advancement.
