For more information, visit www.ironmountain.com.We are currently seeking a Courier Assistnat to assist couriers with the delivery and pick up of customer’s media or equipment, such as carts and pallets. Act as a back up courier to assist in performing deliveries in the absence of transportation personnel due to vacations, illness or emergency situations.  Operate vehicles, vans and straight trucks (not tractor trailers) in order to service the customers in a timely manner, while observing all laws and Iron Mountain Safety Rules. Shift:  7:00AM to 3:30PM Responsibilities of the position include: Assist in the transport of customer media to and from specified points within the district’s territory.  Operate under specific, detailed instructions. Load and unload vehicles as required, as well as verify accuracy of deliveries and pick ups. Assist Truck Driver by moving the vehicle or interacting with customers as needed to increase the efficiency of the delivery/pick up. Interface with Iron Mountain Customers on a daily basis.  Verbally communicate details and information, as well as resolve minor issues in person. Assist in maintaining all equipment associated with deliveries/pick ups, including carts, pallets and two wheelers. Perform other duties and projects, including working in the record center, asrequired. Applicants should be computer proficient, able to communicate verbally with customers, able to complete paperwork accurately and completely and understand the importance of detail and accuracy. Able to lift materials weighing up to 70 pounds; able to use tools to maneuver Must have valid driver’s license and a good driving record, and be able to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening, a background check, DMV check and a DOT physical.
