Certified Welding Inspector / Educator

Company: Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company Location: Atkins, VA 24311 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Manufacturing/Production/Operations Relevant Work Experience: 1+ to 2 Years Certified Welding Inspector / Educator Utility Trailer Manufacturing Co. is seeking a Welding Professional to provide welding personnel training and testing. This position will be based out of our Atkins Virginia Plant and requires regular travel to our four other Manufacturing Plants in the United States. The position requires:  Current C.W.I. credentials from the American Welding Society Willingness to travel on a regular basis (estimate: 2 times per month). Proficient in welding using GMAW, GTAW and FCAW processes. 2 years experience training welding personnel in a production environment. Experience with Robotic Welding Equipment. Good communication skills and the ability to work with all types of people.The Job responsibilities include: Â·  Assist our Manufacturing Plant Management with the training and testing of our welding employees, inspectors and supervision as a part of our Corporations Welding Qualification Program.·  Monitor welding personnel at each of our manufacturing plants to asses training requirements.·  Identify best practices and equipment to make recommendations that will improve our welding efficiency and quality.  ·  Prepare and maintain the required documentation and reports related to training and monitoring the program.·  Obtain a good understanding of all welding processes used within the company and provide support functions as directed.  Send resume with Salary History to HR@UTM.COM
