Backhaul Coordinator

Miller Transfer, a leader in the specialized trucking industry for 40 years, has an exciting new position available at our corporate facility in Rootstown, Ohio.  We are expanding and looking for a backhaul coordinator to locate freight for our drivers throughout our terminal network.  This position will help support 17 offices across the country. 

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

 At least 2 years previous work experience – employment during college acceptablePrevious knowledge in dispatch or locating freight Desire to be hands on and roll up your sleeves as position growsAssist Terminal Manager at corporate by answering phones and entering loads into computerDetail orientedAggressiveExperience in handling multi-tasks and organizedSelf-MotivatedExcellent communication and relationship-building skills as work closely with customers and driversAbility to work closely with Department Managers and Sales Managers to insure excellent customer service to our clients and driversAssist in driver recruitment when neededBe comfortable telemarketing into new companies asking for freightRecent logistic graduates welcome
