Accounts Payable Coordinator

Purpose of Job:

 

Auditing and coding payment requests, obtaining approvals and processing disbursements.

 

Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards:

 

• Full cycle accounts payable processing

• Field phone calls from vendors

• Receive and voucher invoices

• Obtain payment approvals

• Code invoices to appropriate G/L accounts

• Prepare batches, data entry of vendor information and invoices to A/P system

• Process Checks, ACH and EFT payments

• Match payments/checks to supporting invoice packets

• Research and correct discrepancies in order to expedite payments

• Computer proficiency, able to work with multiple operating systems.

• Detail oriented

• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment

• Other duties as assigned
