The Gilbert Company, a nationwide leader in the transportation and warehousing industry, is currently seeking a highly organized professional, with a commitment to customer satisfaction, to direct the office and warehousing activities for a designated account at our facility in Chino, CA.
Managing the performance of warehouse supervisory personnel and the office staff, you will establish operational procedures for the account, respond to customer inquiries and quote requests, and receive orders from the customer. You’ll also handle outbound shipping paperwork & processes, ensure accurate inventory control, and process account billing.
To qualify, you must have a minimum of a HS diploma (or equivalent) with at least 5-10 years of related experience in the warehousing, transportation, logistics or distribution industry. Candidates must be bilingual (English/Spanish); proficient in MS Office applications; and have strong interpersonal, communication and supervisory skills. Good math skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment are required. Familiarity with Lotus Notes and warehouse management system (WMS) software is highly desirable.
