Job Summary:

 

The primary function of the position is responsibility for the daily function of accounts.  The Account Coordinator is expected to have excellent communication skills, provide accurate feedback to both internal and external customers, and is expected to manage assigned accounts while making sure every call that comes in receives a Superior Customer Experience.

 

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

         ·         Handle customer inquiries politely and with a courteous “Can Do� attitude.

            ·         Coordinate shipments for specified accounts

            ·         Proactively monitor shipment activity to ensure on time delivery

            ·         Identify special service issues and work with other teams (Ops) to provide

               resolution.

            ·         Provide continuous communication with customers until service

               requirements and/or service issues are resolved to the customer’s

               satisfaction.

            ·         Customer Analysis and issue resolution

            ·         Perform Pre-calls

            ·         Work to complete tasks in a timely manner as part of a Team

            ·         Understand and report metrics for assigned accounts

            ·         Willingness to build partner relationships with agents, vendors, and clients

            ·         Coordinate with operations team to ensure all shipments are being

               undated accurately and timely.

 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:

        -          College Course work or equivalent

        -          3+ years experience

        -          3+ years in Logistics or Transportation Industry
