Wireless Systems Sales Engineer
Cellular Specialties Inc. is a growing privately-held company with a unique and succesful niche in the wireless industry. We are expanding our market presence to address WiFi opportunities and are seeking a lead technical resource who has wireless, networking and security experience. This position is based in our headquarter's facility in Manchester, NH, and reports directly to the Wireless Business Development Director for our Custom Solutions Group. This individual will be responsible for design, technical support and management of customer installation projects.
DUTIES:Consult with customer and team to review WiFi project proposals, identify deliverables and determine staff and technical requirementsDirect and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project is on-schedule and within budgetMaintain positive customer relations Provide technical advice and resolve technical problemsRecruit and train technical partners to perform installation of WiFi systemsPerform pre and post installation site surveysExtensive travel to customer sites around country
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
5+ years in WLAN, networking management, design, and/or support. Aruba, Cisco, or Colubris experience a plus.CWNA, CWNE, or CCNA certifications, will improve the candidates position.Experience Implementing WLAN technologies, specifically Wireless Controllers in large environments.Experience working with Networking Operating Systems and Integration with Networking Hardware ComponentsExperience implementing authentication technologies.Experience Configuring Layer 3 Switching and Routing TechnologyExperience and ability to perform Wireless Site SurveysUnderstanding of WiFi technologies and knowledge of Distributed Antenna SystemsTechnical knowledge of electronics Project Management experience involving WiFi technologies Ability to read and interpret architectural drawingsKnowledge of construction and safety requirementsProficient with Microsoft Office and project management softwareEffective verbal and written communication skills with a variety of contacts Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skillsHigh attention to detailProven problem solving skills
EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree
3-5years related experience
Preferred Education: Project Management certification; Electrical Engineering degree
