Wireless Process Manager- Cox Business Atlanta, GA 30302 Description:The Wireless Process Manager will play a vital role in the planning and execution of a large wireless project. This individual will be responsible for ensuring best processes and practices are in place within the Commercial Wireless field operations environment to enable accurate and timely order entry, service provisioning, technical support, billing and collection of Commercial Wireless revenue. This individual will also be accountable for managing and auditing the business requirements process. Will facilitate the optimization of business modeling and requirements by enhancing the alignment between business processes and information technology. Function as primary interface to project teams for business modeling, requirements, and standard documentation and methodology improvements. Lead and/or coordinate process synergies and leverage points between markets. Partners with local and field MIS/IT, field Customer Care and Operations teams along with corporate staff to ensure prompt resolution and closure on commercial wireless process inquiries. Communicates and partners regularly to ensure calibration and engagement on corporate driven initiatives. Develops business case in support of new initiatives; designs field engagement and manages implementation. DESCRIPTION:Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal day-to-day guidanceProven ability to analyze a business process or problem and create the solution and manage implementationDemonstrated ability to develop, monitor/measure and identify opportunities for process improvement followed by execution Demonstrated ability to lead change (change agent)Adept at facilitating field buy-in and engagementAbility to build consensus and communicate effectively at all levelsCan design training strategy; develop content and can deliver training when neededFamiliar with at the user level with one or more of the following applications:- Work Order Tools: OPTIX, COMS, ICOMS- Trouble Ticketing Tools: CNSMS (Remedy), UET- Call Center Operational Tools- Call RoutingCapture and validate field business requirements; Partner with MIS/IT in translating business requirements into functional; prioritize and track the application development & lead field implementation; communicate progress/status.Partner with customer care, field operations personnel and MIS/ IT to ensure effective utilization of our applications in support commercial business processes. Tests application functionality.Develop, document and implement best practices for commercial wireless processes.Partner cross-functionally and with the field to leverage key learnings.Pro-actively identify trends and issues necessitating process changes using our reporting tools & technologyFunction as a commercial wireless process SME for other commercial corporate teams; provide input/recommendations.Travel to the field as needed implement corporate initiatives and/or respond to issues.Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS:Required Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesBachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience5 years of previous process management experience working in telecommunications with specific experience/expertise in wireless.Exposure to multiple billing systems and practices prefered.Knowledge of industry trends in telecommunications Demonstrated knowledge and recent user-level experience using the ICOMS application (both green screen and GUI) - release 5.0 forwardStrong people/ relationship management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-taskStrong analytical, research and organizational skillsAbility to effectively deliver user-level trainingDemonstrated experience in documentation of methods, procedures and business processAbility to prepare feature/functionality requirement and test plan documentationComputer skills including Windows based applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, Project)Travel ...20 - 30%Salary/Benefits: > $50,000Job Location: Atlanta, GAJob Number: 7024Company URL: http://www.cox.com/CoxCareer/Company Profile:As the third largest cable provider in the nation, Cox Communications, Inc. is noted for its high-capacity, reliable broadband delivery network as well as the company's ability to provide superior customer service.
