 We are seeking a seasoned professional for a fast paced department in our Amityville, NY office.

 

Qualifications

·        8 years experience in a strong leadership role

·        Exceptional analytical skills

·        Public accounting experience

·        BS/BA in Accounting

·        MBA and CPA a plus

·        In depth knowledge of GAAP

·        Solomon experience a plus

·        Computer proficiency in MS Excel

 

Responsibilities

·        All financial aspects of the business

·        Financial reporting, percentage of completion accounting, inventory control and warehousing

·        Budget and forecast models

·        Value added strategies and solutions

·        Manage growth of gross margin

·        Cost efficiency planning

·        Process improvement

·        Liaison with Corporate Headquarters

·        SOX compliance oversight

·        Oversee design of staff compensation programs to achieve revenue objectives

·        Oversee compliance for multiple state sale tax filings

·        Vendors cost negotiations
