Yoh Engineering has an opening for a Test Engineer in Alpharetta, GA.  This opportunity is for 6 months contract-to-hire or immediate direct hire for the right candidate.  Our customer is a privately owned Alpharetta-based wireless technology manufacturer founded in early 2001. Job Requirements: • The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Operations and the Engineering team in transitioning the company products from design to prototype and from prototype to manufacture.  • This candidate will be specifically responsible for development of manufacturing test methodologies, test documentation, and support the implementation of full scale, high yield testing activities with third party contract manufacturing vendors.  • The candidate must be a self-motivated individual capable of working without much supervision and be able to define and communicate production test needs to internal and external personnel at all levels.Responsibilities: • Define manufacturing test and funding requirements during product development, product prototype and full production cycles. • Develop test plans, test requirements documents, and test documentation that all support the drive-to-market goals. • Ability to drive a manufacturing test project from design activities to full production ramp-up. • Ability to identify and schedule implementation activities and execute within time and budget constraints. • Ability to effectively communicate test requirements, physical needs, and funding requirements to management personnel. • Ability to communicate test requirements to third party contract manufacturers. • Capability to evaluate possible test approaches and define most cost effective means to achieve production goals. Work experience requirements: • Seven (7) years experience in a test engineer capacity – preferably RF. • Two (2) years as test engineer lead. • Experience in transitioning electronic products from design to manufacture. • Experience in analyzing production line test methodologies for electronic products. • Experience in designing test fixtures. • Experience in writing test plans and test requirements documents. • Experience in Quality Assurance roles desirable.Education/Certification/Technical/Other Requirements: • BSEE or BSEET degree from an accredited university.Discover all that's possible with Yoh Engineering.
