Telecommunications Technician II

We are presently seeking a Telecommunications Technician II for our Rye Brook, NY office to

install and service telecommunications equipment.

 

Minimum Requirements:Knowledge of Nortel, Mitel and Telrad Telecommunications equipmentAbility to work independently and with minimal supervisionProven ability to communicate with customers and relay solutions effectivelyPrevious experience with Key, PBX and Convergent systemsWorking knowledge of data protocols and their relation to PBX equipmentAbility to comprehend and operate within an IT environment, interfacing convergent voice and data equipment and applicationsUnderstanding of L2/L3 switches, routers, secure routers, WLAN

Education/Certifications:

 Nortel Networks BCM NCDS or NCSSMitel Networks MX3300 systems related trainingVoIP Technology course or related trainingBasic IP Internetworking fundamentals course or related training
