Postion Summary:

 

Our Site Administator/Technicians are responsible for inmate phone systems in state of the art correctional facilities (escorts are provided for safety).  Perform maintenance on inmate telephone sets, troubleshoot T-1 problems, identify hardware and software problems and work with various vendors to resolve said problems, operate proprietary switching equipment, archive, backup files and perform other related housekeeping funcitions, run customer reports as required and interface with the customer on a daily basis.  You will be working in correctional facilities and as such must be able to pass an extensive background check.Perform testing, repair and preventative maintenance of station equipmentKeep management informed of unusual maintenance issuesPrepare and maintain service logsOpen and close all service related issues in a timely mannerStrong analytical skills

Required

 Must be able to pass a comprehensive ten (10) year background checkMust be able to lift 50 poundsMust be able to climb, squat, bend and sit for prolonged periods of timeMust have experience with MS Windows based computer systemsExperience with Cisco router, switches and hubs a plusMust have telephone system experienceHigh School diplomaValid Driver’s License and reliable transportationStrong Communication skills, written and verbalMust be available for emergency call outs
