Telecom Pricing Analyst

Verigent, one of Inc. Magazine's Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies in America, has immediate openings in Arlington, VA for pricing analysts with experience in Federal Government Telecom pricing.

These are long term opportunities with a high likelihood of becoming permanent. If hired, you will work on contract to our client as a Verigent employee.

Senior Analyst

o    Independently determines areas requiring special financial and pricing analysis and presents findings and recommendations for leadership review.o    Develops highly complex financial models to determine profitability, cost-benefit, price elasticity, cost minimization.o    Maintains pricing database and consults various internal and external sources to determine competitive levels of pricing.o    Directs and manages the process of developing accurate, complete, compliant and competitive Pricing Proposals.  Identifies all intermediate developmental steps and then sets and monitors deliverable schedules. Works closely with sales engineers, product managers and sales managers to ensure that cost development work is on schedule and in synchronization with the technical proposal. Acts as Subject Matter Expert on all issues related to the Pricing Proposal.  Prepares pricing volume for proposals.o    Reviews financial data associated with the RFP and proposal response and identifies the risks associated with terms and conditions.o    Works closely with Management to secure competitive pricing and requisite approvals.o    Conducts complex analyses of strategic issues either independently or upon request from leadership.o    Has working knowledge of telecom products and services and continues to upgrade this knowledge base with new technologies.o    Develops business cases for upper management review with issues and recommendations and leads discussions on related issues.o    Ensures that pricing methodologies and strategies meet corporate and governmental regulations.o    Directs junior business analysts when they are assigned to assist on large projects.o    Requires Bachelors degree with at least 10 years in telecom pricing or engineering in the federal marketplace. Engineering experience or degree required. Must have advanced spreadsheet skills. Skill in Microsoft Access is desirable.
