Telecom Administration and Reporting Analyst-Houston
Telecomunications-Southern Division-Houston, Texas
This position exists to ensure the management of all wireless, local and long distance telecom service, telecom budget and expense tracking, telecom reporting and trouble ticket management for all Houston Region Comcast sites. This is responsible for compiling telecommunication information from multiple vendor and divisional sources, identifying trends, presenting recommendations to senior leadership on telecommunication metrics and ensuring accuracy and data standards across regions. This is also responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance processes and procedures to facilitate optimization of data delivery and reduce costs.
Manages and oversees the execution of effective processes for wireless, billing, provisioning, financial controls, reporting, and ticket management, inclusive of telecom reporting processes.
Oversee the audit and coding of internal communication bills (wireless, landline, 800, local) to ensure correct billing. Provide forecasts and trend analysis (both financial and usage based) of telecommunication services as well as usage and budget reports as required. Manage Witness equality adds, moves and changes.
Manage all adds, moves and changes with Local Exchange Carriers and Long Distance providers for all services and equipment. Work with vendor account teams to determine best pricing and account set up.
Perform capacity assessments for all telecom services (hardware and software). Prepare capacity planning summaries and give recommendations on most tactical and cost saving plans for Comcast telecom needs.
Create expense purchase orders and assist with spend tracking and compliance of budgetary issues for the telecom group and perform other tasks and projects as management may direct.
