TelCo Routing Services Provisioning & Engineer

Ameritraining, Inc. is searching for a very experienced Enterprise Routing Services Provisioning & Engineer for our Major Telecom client.  This is an hourly contract position expected to last 3 months.  If selected a Drug and Background check is required.

This is a highly technical position, which requires a current CCNA.

 

Design, Implementation and Tier 3 support for Call Routing Systems and Platforms

1. Participate in presale consultation of Call Center traditional and VOIP based Call Routing system design.
2. Responsible for all Cisco core component configurations associated with the install, upgrade, and/or expansion of new or existing Customer configurations. Cisco units related are:
a. Cisco Routers ( 2600 and 3700 series )
b. Cisco Gatekeeper Routers ( 2600 and 3700 series )
c. Cisco Voice Gateway Routers ( AS5400 )
d. Cisco Ethernet Switches (1900, 2900, 3500 series)
e. Cisco Content Services Switches (11000 series)
3. Responsible for equipment design and layout of product equipment installed in ERSC for Customer platforms.
4. Responsible for upgrades to Cisco IOS based equipment within supported Customer platforms.
5. Setup, maintain, administer, and support monitoring platforms associated with product support. The platforms include but are not limited to:
a. Cisco Alarm Tracker
b. Cisco ITM
c. What’s Up Gold
d. KIWI Syslog Server
e. Sniffer
6. Tier 3 support for ERSC maintenance teams as related Customer product support. This support includes but is not limited to Cisco IOS based equipment, ICM and ISN hardware and software components, Cisco Call Manager and IP/IVR hardware related configurations.
7. Internal ERSC lab setup and support. There are several labs with the ERSC used for various functionalities associated with supporting our product base. These labs have hardware and software components that are both Cisco IOS and Wintel based components.
8. Travel is minimal but required at times. Travel is approximately 10%
9. Because of the need to work locally within the ERSC, applicant must reside in the local area (Not possible to work remote).
10. Applicant should be knowledgeable of the Cisco, Genisys, and Avaya Call Center applications as well as Nuance speech recognition and Quorum product line.
11. Applicant should be familiar with configuring and trouble shooting Cisco AS5300/AS5400 voice gateway product line as it relates to customer specific deployments
