Requirements:

AT&T, the leader in telecommunications has an immediate need for a Technical Consultant (TC) in our Oakton, VA location. The AT&T Technical Consultant is an industry leader in Advanced Communications and Networking Solutions. Aligned with the AT&T sales team, the TC will provide the following: Technical Solutions designed For the Customers Business Requirements Needs Support of Technical Presentations and Briefings Pre-Sale Technical Support Technical Design and Strategy Technical Subject Matter Expert in Advanced Communications and networking solutions to include, but not limited to, Managed or Unmanaged Data, MPLS VPNs, VOIP/IPT, Global, EContact, IP, Security Services, Local, Hosting services, LAN management, CPE, NI, Professional Services, Strategic Partners and Managed Business Communications Solutions

Qualified applicant will have the following:
10-15 years of experience in Telecommunications/Networking
5+ Years of Technical Sales/Consulting Experience
Knowledge and Experience in LAN WAN networks including: Private Line, Frame relay, ATM, SONET, Routers, Routing Protocols, Internet, MPLS VPNs, VOIP.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical and problem solving skills, Technical product knowledge
Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
BS, MS or MIS is CS, Telecommunication or related field.
AT&T Data and IP Service knowledge is a Plus!
Network Engineering and/or Capacity Planning is a Plus!
Large F100 Account/Customer Support is a Plus!
