Schedule work for and supervise assigned personnel. Assist Technical Operations Manager with training of technicians and other related field personnel. Assist monitoring, evaluating, and disciplining of field personnel. Regularly QA the work of installation, service or system employees and contractors. Work with customers to resolve installation/service related complaints, regarding both quality of service and employee conduct. Insure that all Company property in use by employees is properly utilized and maintained. Insure timely completion of all orders for installation/service and/or proper notification of delays. May perform all duties of technical staff when necessary. Travel within system and to meetings as required. Climb ladders, towers and other structures as needed; lift and carry loads of at least 70 lbs; use bucket truck when necessary. Manipulate connectors, fasteners and wire and use hand tools. Other functions that may be assigned.

Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

Required Skills:
High School education, or its equivalent, with knowledge of construction, electrical codes, and safety precautions.

EXPERIENCE:

3 years CATV construction/installation/service, experience including progressive supervisory experience preferred.

Network experience strongly preferred

Ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels.

Must possess valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record.

Good physical fitness; ability to climb ladders; use bucket truck, lift and carry at least 70 pounds.

Knowledge of current developments in the CATV industry regarding proper field maintenance and operation.

Capable of motivating direct reports.

Knowledge of National Electrical Code, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and related state and local codes.
