POSITION SUMMARY: Provide the necessary supervision and direction to Field Service Representatives in the completion of field activities and customer service tasks.

MAJOR DUTIES: (May perform any or all of the following duties.)

*Train, supervise and evaluate activities of Communications Technicians to assure the highest caliber of customer service.
*Assign and organize field activities to optimize resources in the most efficient means possible, through the use of strong communication skills both written and orally.
*Work with customers on conflict resolutions to better educate and provide the necessary feedback to retain their business/loyalty.
*Assist in the development of departmental goals and objectives to assure effective administration and implementation.
*Evaluate the performance of Communications Technicians in determining career advancement and special project assignments.
*Report all accidents, losses or property damage to the Technical Operations Manager or designee. *Maintain tools, account for assigned equipment, and conduct safety inspections, meetings and investigations in prescribed manner following established procedures and/or protocols.


Required Skills:
EDUCATION: High school plus 2 years technical school or equivalent in work experience and self-study.

Preferred Qualifications:
Strong organization and project management skills. Strong team motivator. Proven customer service skills. Knowledge of cable television products and services. Technical field experience.
Ability to coach, supervise and train others. Ability to use personal computer and software applications and general knowledge of computer hardware architectures. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and straight-forward manner.

EXPERIENCE: 4 years experience in cable industry with 1 year as a Senior Technician. Supervisory experience a plus. Valid Washington Driver's License.
