And we currently have opportunities for you to join our team.We are seeking an individual with technical experience to provide day-to-day administration and support of APAC’s local area network, hardware and software installation and configuration, including installation and configuration of desktop workstations and associated peripheral equipment in the following role: Technical Analyst- DesktopCedar Rapids, IA and Green Bay, WIRESPONSIBILITIES: Provide support and instruction in use of business productivity applications to end users, both on-site and by telephone. Provide second level customer support during business hours. Maintain network reliability and availability. Provide direct and telephone technical support to computer end users. Install and configure operating system and application software, for network servers, gateways, special-purpose servers and end-user desktop workstations and laptop computers. Maintain and enforce company policies and standards regarding use of hardware, software and information resources. Sustain appropriate network security policies. Maintain documentation of equipment, software, processes and procedures. Provide 1st level support during business hours. Maintain network tape backups and cooperates with tape librarian regarding tape rotation Staff disaster recovery sites as needed.REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate’s degree or equivalent strongly preferred. Minimum of 2-5 years of experience administering Windows NT and/or Windows 2000. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is strongly preferred. Excellent advanced analytical and communication skills required. Experience with project management is preferred. Strong Team Player with excellent PC and Application Troubleshooting skills. Working hardware knowledge on Dell, Compaq and/or Gateway servers is preferred.
