Inspect all CATV equipment in assigned areas, climb poles, ladders and other structures, and lift and carry loads of up to 70 pounds. Manipulate connectors, fasteners, and hand tools. Verify subscriber services and tag numbers. Terminate all unused tap ports. Compile accurate data in regards to homes passed. Note all obvious plant problems. Maintain accurate inventory of vehicle stock. Keep accurate time and commission sheets for accounting purposes. Follow up on all leads involving unauthorized connections in the cable system.

Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance is required.

Required Skills:
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE:
Valid driver's license with good driving record.
Some CATV installation background preferred.
This position requires heavy manual labor in all weather conditions/elements.
Six months to one year work experience.
