p { font-size: 11px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 12px; } Responsibilities SummaryThis position is responsible for the management of the credit, collection and payment application processes, in addition to the set-up and maintenance of the local and national agent customers within the Great Plains A/R system.ResponsibilitiesManage the daily activities of 5 employees and the ongoing development of performance objectives, career coaching and performance appraisals. Hire and train new employees.Manage the credit limit, terms and A/R status of local and national Indirect Agents. This includes heavy interaction and partnership with Area Finance and Indirect teams to work through various receivable issues. Prepare and distribute monthly aging reports for all regions.Manage the cash application process for all monies received for the Great Plains A/R system, including daily and monthly reconciliations of payments received. Manage the Agent commission offset process with the Commission team. Responsible for reconciling and monitoring the A/P open liability report as it relates to commission offsets.Respond to escalated issues from agents and account managers. Provide internal and external support regarding payment and A/R status for agent accounts.Calculate the bad debt reserve for all receivables within the Great Plains A/R system.Prepare monthly journal entries. Responsible for monthly general ledger account reconciliations and analysis as well as support during internal and external audits.Develop and maintain departmental methods & procedures and SOX controls. Review processes to implement efficiencies.Lead new projects and initiatives as directed by management. p { font-size: 11px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 12px; } Qualifications Required:BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or Management4+ years diversified finance experience, including accounts receivable Experience with billing and financial systemsGeneral ledger account reconciliation and analysis experienceAbility to effectively communicate and maintain close working relationships with all levels of management and customersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong MS Excel skillsStrong MS Access skillsSelf motivated and highly organized individualPreferred:Working knowledge of PS FinancialsWorking knowledge of Great Plains AR/Billing systemPrevious supervisory experience We are an equal opportunity employer m/f/d/v.
