Support Engineer II - Enterprise (290463)
Enventis, a subsidiary of HickoryTech and a Cisco Gold Partner, provides IP-based voice, data and network solutions to businesses. We are seeking qualified candidates for a Support Engineer II – Enterprise (290463) at our Plymouth, MN location.
Primary responsibilities include providing in-depth product support for our customers, analyzing, identifying, and correcting problems that result in network or system outrages, including LAN, WAN, hardware failures as well as product defects, performing moves, adds, and changes as required, and providing resolution on a broad product set using previous and ongoing experience. Minimum qualifications include a 4-year degree in related technical field or the equivalent in experience, 3 years technical customer support experience, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance, excellent analytical troubleshooting skills and organizational skills, ability to make critical decisions, excellent communications skills, and strong customer service skills. Knowledge of at least two of the following: Database subsystems, LAN/WAN protocols, Cisco CCM and/or Unity design, Network tools to aid in fault resolutions, Network security and access methods, UNIX/NT/XP operation systems. CCNA and at least 1 to 2 years of Cisco voice experience required and CCVO required within one year. On-call and after hours availability is required.
