Support Desk Administrator

"POSITION SUMMARY: The Support Desk Administrator is responsible for guiding the daily Call Center operations in order to assure timely and appropriate flow of calls and information. Daily operations primarily includes actively monitoring headcount, average handle time, the call load and classification of calls arriving in the call center in order to achieve the specific business objectives of the call center as set forth by the call center management team. Work closely with the Support Desk Manager, Directors and others to escalate and execute changes and provide overall call center support in a timely fashion. Punctual,regular and consistent attendance. Perform other related responsiblilities as requested by supervisor in order to achieve departmental goals and objectives."

Required Skills:
"EDUCATION:High School Diploma or equivalent (associate or college degree preferred). EXPERIENCE:. * Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel in Call Center. * Ability to work independently as well as support a team environment. * Familiarity with Call Center operations and technical support. * Demonstrated ability to disseminate complex information and instructions verbally. * Demonstrated commitment to quality customer care. * Ability to work effectively with different computer based technologies. * Superior communication skills and an ability to deal effectively with customers, peers, all levels of management and other departments. * Excellent project management skills and the ability to organize work in an efficient manner. * Strong Excel (must be able to create and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets) and PC skills. * Flexibility in shift assignment (which may include nights and weekends).
