Supervisor Technicians (Laurel, Mississippi)

-Plan, promote and administer the technical service activity to ensure quality service and interface with customers.
-Provide guidance and work direction to technical personnel.
-Achieve departmental and business goals
-Responsible for meeting Comcast's standard for QC measurements.
-Training technicians on test equipment usage and troubleshooting techniques.
-Ensure the proper completion of all scheduled or on demand service or maintenance work by coordinating and mentoring team on business practical methods.
-Ensure system compliance to NCTA, FCC regulations and Comcast minimum operating specifications including day-to-day procedures associated with compliance as it related to CT techs.
-Proactively support and motivate Comm Tech training continually monitoring progress and training schedules.
-Perform and conduct annual reviews along with providing an on-going open communications with team to include coaching, mentoring and career development on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
-Responsible for implementing standard safety training and maintaining safety records.
-Coordinate all vehicle assignments, maintenance and inspections.
-Ensure system and staff is able to respond to the demands of new technology deployment through demonstrative methods.
-Analyze operations and performance to assure operational efficiencies through productively, QC, customer satisfaction, repeats and trouble calls on installations.
-Coordinate department responses to customer or departmental issues with strong sense of urgency.
-Work with other departments as necessary to maintain an in-depth technical knowledge of new technology being deployed and build interdepartmental relationships.
-Perform other related duties as assigned.
-Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance required.

Required Skills:
-Bachelors Degree or the recognized equivalent in work experience or a combination of work experience and education.
-Two (2) years previous supervisory experience or a minimum of five (5) years technical experience.
-Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and make sound judgement and ethical decisions.
-Proven ability to motivate and develop through coaching and counseling.
-Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills and presentation skills, demonstrated by the ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees and throughout organizational management.
-Ability to use personal computer and software applications and general knowledge of computer hardware architectures. * Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.
