Supervisor Technical Operations, Richmond Virginia

*Meet or exceed Comcast Metro Richmond's standard for QC measurements to include, but not limited to, call backs, cards and physical inspection
*50% of time will be spent in field.
*Train technicians on test equipment usage and troubleshooting techniques.
*Manage schedule coordination with NOC.
*Ensure the proper completion of all scheduled or on demand service or maintenance work by coordinating and mentoring team on fair and business practical methods.
*Ensure system compliance to NCTA, FCC regulations and Comcast minimum operating specifications including day-to-day procedures associated with compliance as it relates to CommTechs.
*Develop staff training quality measurement guidelines and minimum requirements.
*Proactively support and motivate CommTech's, including training and continually monitoring progress toward personal and departmental goals
*In conjunction with Manager, perform and conduct annual, bi-annual reviews along with providing on-going open communications with team to include coaching, mentoring and career development on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
*Responsible for implementing standard safety training and maintaining safety records.
*Manage the daily safety inspection issues, taking corrective action as necessary.
*Ensure system and staff is able to respond to the demands of new technology deployment through demonstrated methods.
*Perform duties of CT1-3 as needed.
*Rotating On-Call Schedule.
*Analyze operations and performance to assure operational efficiencies through Productivity, QC, Customer Satisfaction, Repeats, Trouble calls on Installs.
*Coordinate department responses to customer or department issues with a strong sense of urgency.
*Work with other departments as necessary to maintain an in-depth technical knowledge of new technology being deployed.
*Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
*Prior supervisory experience, especially in a technical, field work, or installation environment strongly preferred
*Strong organization and project management skills
*Demonstrated leadership skills
*Knowledge of Basic Data Transmission Networking.
*Knowledge of Proof of Performance testing procedures.
*Budgeting and P/L experience.
*Strong team motivator.
*Proven customer service skills.
*Knowledge of cable television products and services.
*Technical field experience.
*Understanding of FCC Part 76.605
*Ability to coach, supervise and train others.
*Ability to use personal computer and software applications and general knowledge of computer hardware architectures.
*Ability to communicate both orally and in writing in a clear and straight-forward manner.
*Valid Virginia Drivers License, meeting Comcasts minimum driving record requirements
