Supervisor Payment Center/Lobby Union, New Jersey
Eastern Division (North / Central New Jersey)
* Supervise payment center and check-in operations staff in multiple locations to provide the highest level of internal control and customer service (includes regular travel between locations).
* Follow and administer Cash Handling Policies and Procedures to ensure company policy is adhered to and risk of loss is minimized.
* Resolve complex customer issues covering a full range of services in a prompt, professional manner with the goal of exceeding customer expectations through customer follow-up on installation/service quality, greet walk in customers, handle cash and process requests on a direct customer contact basis
* Ensure work order check-in process is completed in timely and accurately manner to ensure accurate customer billing and properly record the work completed while on site.
* Evaluate, coach and counsel personnel in the performance of their duties, and communicate all training needs to the Area Manager.
* Schedule staff to ensure resources are used appropriately to achieve established department goals.
* Maintain expertise in communicating various products and services to customers
* Communicate and monitor performance of business initiatives, sales, service and performance standards and goals for the department staff.
* Work with cross-functional departments to resolve customer issues and address process improvements opportunities
* Compile Monthly Reports
* Hiring, training and development of staff.
* Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance
* Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
* Associate's degree or equivalent college course work preferred.
* 3 year experience supervising others.
* Knowledge of billing/operating systems including Cable Data and ICOMS a plus.
* Must have solid MS skills (Word and Excel).
* Proven track record in demonstrating the following: Decision making, developing and motivating others, leading others through change, conflict resolution, operational excellence in all aspects of business and interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills.
* Must be able to work well with cross-functional departments.
* Must be able to travel
* Flexible with schedule
