Local telecommunications solutions provider has an opening for an experienced Strategic Account Manager in the Rochester, NY area.
Duties &/Responsibilities:Developing a defined market with new customers. Identifying & knowing every prospect. Developing & driving a successful market development plan. Identifying customers needs, develop value enhancing solutions & consulting on alternatives with client. Mapping all divisions & key decision makers in each account. Weekly sales updates. Achieving assigned sales targets on Monthly/Weekly accomplishments/CRM reports. Proposal writing, financial justifications, closing the sale, follow up & account maintenance. Leading the immediate sales team in developing new solutions & applications for customers. Internal teamwork with partner groups to achieve complete customer satisfaction. Total ownership of account plan & communicating to Ronco management on the strategy needed to be successful in account.
Compensation:
$60k base at plan OTE 1st year at $120K + with car/gas/laptop/cell, work from home in Rochester, NY Area Excellent Management and Company to work for.
Essential Job Functions
Products/Services Sold80% New customer development, sale of new applications into current accounts. 10% Proposal writing, presentations developed. 5% Current account maintenance - working with customer Support Managers.

Education & Experience:
Keywords:
A four-year degree is a plus. Significant telecommunications industry knowledge is preferred.
The Strategic Account Manager should have existing industry experience or equivalent knowledge. Must have an assertive, outgoing, highly personable personality, with excellent communication skills. Strong presentation experience with demonstrable successes is highly desired.
